GOLFERS PUTT THEIR FAITH IN THE LORD

The 2020 FUMC Men’s Ministry Fore the Lord Golf Scramble will be held Monday, September 14, at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Washington.

Men and women alike are invited to compete at a cost of $80 for 18 holes, and $66 for nine holes. Registration includes green fees, golf cart, boxed lunch, water, dinner, and prizes. There will be a shotgun start at 12:30 PM.

In a scramble format, teams hit their ball from their team member’s best drive point, and play the hole through using the best ball method, including putts.

New this year, if there are at least two women's foursomes, there will be a women's prize for lowest net team score, and there will be a separate prize for the women's longest drive. They can participate in the other four prize categories as well. By mutual agreement, women may play either nine or eighteen holes.

Prizes will be awarded at specified holes for longest putt, closest to the line, longest drive, and closest to the pin.

Dinner will be served at the end of the scramble, featuring guest speaker Michael Barber, Principal of Rolling Meadows Elementary School.
