Welcome to First United Methodist Church in Peoria! Our journey begins here...

Where do I park when I arrive?

Convenient Drop-off

Accessibility parking and covered drop-off is located conveniently off of NE Perry Ave. or Main Street. Elevator accessibility is right inside of this entranceway. You'll be close to our Worship Center, and just a short distance from the Gathering Space, the Foster Gallery, and the Sanctuary. This is also the best approach if you are coming to our offices, which are located on the lower level.

Front Entrance Parking

Just across from our main entrances you'll find ample convenient parking. This lot is accessible from NE Perry Ave. or Hamilton Blvd. NE Perry is one way, but be sure to look in both directions before crossing. You'll also notice that there is a drop-off lane on NE Perry just in front of our main campus.

Sunday Only Parking

In the case of overflow, you may also park in the Peoria Public Library parking lot off of Hamilton Blvd. or NE Monroe St. This lot is directly behind our main campus, and is only available for church event parking on Sundays.

Sanctuary Entrance

If steps aren't a problem for you, and you'd prefer to drop-off your passengers from street-side on NE Perry, you may prefer to enter our Sanctuary wing from the front. You'll also be just a short distance from the Gathering Space and the contemporary Worship Center.

We want you to feel welcomed and comfortable the first time you visit.

Here's a quick tour hosted by our Director of Community Ministries and Mission, Dan Philips.

THE GATHERING PLACE

At the center of our main campus is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and get to know each other.  On Sunday mornings you can enjoy donuts and other light breakfast items along with coffee or juice. Get connected and up to date at our Information Center. Parents will appreciate our secure children's ministry check-in. And whatever your worship style preference, the Sanctuary and Worship Center are both steps away.

The Journal of Our Journey

Our quarterly magazine, The Herald, is a great place to learn more about our heart for ministry. You'll hear from our pastoral staff, get updated on what's new for the month, and join us on the adventure as you experience places we've been and places we're about to go. Stay on the move and up-to-date with The Herald, available in print and digital download.

Vibrant Children's Ministry.
