OUTDOOR WORSHIP RETURNS IN JULY

OUTDOOR WORSHIP RETURNS IN JULY

We’ll be together again, again!

We’re having an outdoor worship service in the church parking lot at 116 NE Perry Ave on Sunday, July 12 at 9 AM. Please note the earlier time from the previous service. Meeting at 9 AM will help us as we try to avoid the July heat.

You are asked to park in the far north-west of our big parking lot. Use the alley way entrances. Please do not use the main entrances off of Perry (see the map). Please bring your lawn chair and your mask.  We ask that you remain socially distanced by six feet or more and refrain from physical greetings.  We will sing songs of praise – while masked – have special music, pray together, worship together, and we are planning to receive communion.

You may set up your chairs or throw a blanket in the un-chalked parking spaces. Before the service begins, plan to send someone in your group to the communion station to receive the pre-packaged elements and bulletins.  There will be a table to make an offering if you wish to do so. One basket will be for regular tithes and offerings, and one for a loose offering to support our virtual VBS/6Ways2Praise event this summer.

If you are unable to attend, our regular online services will be on Facebook, YouTube, and HERE on this website at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:15 AM. This service will not be streamed online.

Important Note Regarding Winter Harvest
A Winter Harvest collection will be taken at this service. Please bring your containers to hand in at our offering station, and additionally, consider making a check to FUMC Peoria and placing it in the winter harvest bucket.
